Thought I would buy an extra AR 15 upper before they are banned in Maryland. This one arrived and was way better than I ever expected. I even just bought another one from SAA . Also next payday will buy a SAA stripped lower. SAA is quality stuff...

I will take it to the range this weekend and try it out. From all reviews I read I expect it to be High quality well built upper. After receiving the first one I have already ordered another.

I bought this to go with a Spikes tactical lower I built. Bolted perfectly, looks good, and it shot well at 50 and 100 yards. I kind of reget not getting the barrel with 1:8 twist to shoot heavier grain ammo but I normally shoot below 77 grain so I don't think it will be an issue.

I bought this to put with my surplus arms lower and it bolted perfect. I love how they put the quality into this upper with the stacking of the bolt carrier group which saved me time from having to do it myself. The rifle looks great and can't wait to take her to the range which i think it will fire just fine. It came headspaced and test fired and they put quality into their products. I'm a happy buyer and put my life and the life of my behind this product.

I purchased the AR-15 M4 upper and shot it at the local range. The lower was from my A1 due to not receiving the buttstock for the DPMS lower. With that said, this upper is a great shooter, no feed problems. I used a NC star scope which performed well. WPA 52 Gr. HP held a great pattern at 50 and 100 meters. Hopefully SAA will offer the package in another forearm grip style, just for variety. This one is great but would like to see a different style offered at or close to the same price. Good job SAA.

I have a Sharps Rifle Compamy lower that was given to me as a wedding gift. This upper fits perfect and matches my lower. All I can say is AWESOME!!!

I purchased an Aero Precision lower, and just received my SAA upper last night. I have not had a chance to take it out, but so far, I am very pleased. The only issue that I have is the upper and lower do not fit together, but this is not a AP or SAA issue, it is an afetermarket buffertube issue. The threads needed to hold the retaining pin and spring in for the buffer extend too far out, so I will have to modify the buffertube in order to get it to fit properly. Again, not an SAA upper or AP lower issue, just something that I am dealing with. I'll post another once I get it to the range.

I bought this upper on sale when it was $399. I could not be happier with it. My only complaint is their packaging was kinda lame. Round tube mailer with just white butcher paper around it to keep it from moving.
They shipped it in a timely matter. I would like to see SAA build this gun in a midlegth gas system with a full MOE furniture kit. Also the front sight base does not use standard flip up sights so that could be an issue for some. I mounted a scope so it wasn't. If they would build a mid length carbine I would buy another.

Excellent service. After much searching and comparing I purchased this upper. For the cost, you can't beat the deal or the quality. I've added an Aero Precision lower...very pleased with the final weapon.
I'll be buying more and recommending to others.
