SAA Carbine "H2" Heavy Buffer Weight for the AR-15
SAA H2 (Heavy) Buffer for your carbine, AR15, M4 Standard USGI part for the M4 Carbine. The heavier weight buffer is used to slow down the cycle rate on carbine style AR rifles which helps lengthen receiver life. A heavyweight buffer could potentially increase performance on hotter loads by slowing the cycle rate enough to allow the magazine to ready a new round for the chamber.
- Weighted with 2 tungsten and 1 steel weights
- 4.6 oz.

Arrived on time and item is a good quality and great price
Used this to make some of my pistols shoot a little softer. Works well for that. It was also a great price and looks like a nicely made piece of hardware. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
Works good, looks good, shipped fast!
Not much more can be said!
Buffer is perfect for making a 10.5 inch AR pistol run like a sewing machine.
Brass ejects at 4:00 smooth action. In combination with RED color buffer spring from Springco. Excellent buffer. Will defiantly buy more. Thanks
This works great in my 6.5 Grendel
I had nearly constant stovepipes with my Hardened Arms 10.5 Inch 7.62x39 pistol build... Evidently, the BCG was cycling too fast with the standard carbine buffer, and I went as heavy as I could and still get the bolt to latch on an empty magazine.. I'm a happy camper now..
I rated five start because it is exactly as advertised. Fast shipping was a plus also. Be sure you fully understand how adding the extra mass of this buffer will affect your rifle. If you rifle cycles reliably as is and your not suppressed or full auto, or lager than .223 you probably dont need this and it may adversly effect reliablity of your rifle.
16" barrel with a carbine gas system now cycles reliably when bumpfired. Carbine buffer had light strikes every 3-5 rounds. St2 improved it a little. H2 fixed it. 40 round mag completely dumped fine and then 3 mags with sporadic fire all worked. Bolt stayed open after last round. Not sure of rpm but sounds like a saw.
