SAA Carbine "H3" Heavy Buffer Weight for the AR-15
H3 (Heavy) Buffer for your carbine, AR15, M4 Standard USGI part for the M4 Carbine. The heavier weight buffer is used to slow down the cycle rate on carbine style AR rifles which helps lengthen receiver life. A heavyweight buffer could potentially increase performance on hotter loads by slowing the cycle rate enough to allow the magazine to ready a new round for the chamber.

Quality buffer for a great price. Works well for suppressed 556
Shipped fast works as it should for my application.
Surplus ammo service was excellent
My 7.62x39 upper was seriously overgassed. There are a lot of solutions to this problem. The H3 buffer solved it in my case and saved the expense of an adjustable gas block.
I used this buffer along with a JPS-OSC extra power spring to tame a 7.62x39 upper that I thought had a bit too much recoil. The combo seems to work and even my 15 yr. old grandson agrees. He enjoys shooting it too. It was also a great price and looks like a well made piece of hardware. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.
I found that the solid H3 buffers in my opinion didn't as good and for the price. I couldn't beet it
I had just built a 16" carbine length gas system using the standard carbine weighted buffer and it was ejecting at 1 o'clock. Bought the H3 heavy buffer that was received as advertised. Having the carbine buffer and the H3 I could make an H2 or H1 if needed. The H3 worked perfect! The 16" is shooting smoother and the current ejection is 3 o'clock. I would highly recommend this product.
I chose this after reading many articles and listening to many opinions. In an effort to reduce recoil and extend the life of the bolt, it seemed pretty reasonable that if a rifle length buffer weighing 5.4oz worked well, then a carbine length buffer weighing 5.4oz should also work well. This buffer weighted in right on the advertised of 5.4oz. I tried it in a couple rifles with carbine and mid-length gas systems, and used a variety of ammo including: American Eagle, TulAmmo and some lower-powered handloads. In all cases and combinations, all the ammo cycled the bolt carrier and it locked open on the last round. I intend to use these on all future rifles.
This buffer listed 5.4 oz weighed 5.41 unusual to get exactly what you wanted , thank you !
